When Janis was a girl growing up in Oklahoma her Dad would order a half-beef from a rancher-friend and to this day, those were the best steaks she'd ever eaten. No store product has ever compared. Like many health-conscious people today, we have cut down our beef consumption but when we do eat a steak, we want a WONDERFUL steak! Therefore after 30 years in Georgia raising horses, we've worked hard to establish an Oklahoma farm to raise healthy, grass-fed cattle. After careful study we selected the Angus/Simmental cross. In the meantime our cattle will continue to munch free-range on a buffet of native Oklahoma grasses and hay 24/7. Just like you, a healthy diet shouldn't be confined to just one food item so while we have Bermuda grass we also allow and encourage a variety of native grasses to grow to insure abundant protein and nutrients.
